My September Minerva Make – The Grainline Linden Sweatshirt
For my Minerva project this month I chose a really quick and easy project and a total wardrobe basic – a sweatshirt! Not something I really think of as my usual style, but it’s hard to stick to my style of pretty cotton dresses when it starts getting cold, wet and rainy and I want to wear jeans!

Grainline Linden
So there it is, my first Grainline Linden sweatshirt – and I think the first of many!
Thanks to Minerva for providing me with the pattern, fabric and some thread. Since I ordered the sweatshirt fabric it has gone into the sale, so it’s a really great price of £2.99 per metre at the moment! Check out my full post on the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network here.
Now I have a backlog of other projects to blog about – I have been too busy over summer to write anything!

Ooh, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to snap up some of this fabric at such a good price! Order placed! 😉 I find it hard to buy anything but black, white or grey sweatshirting fabric at my local store, and those are just not the colours I want to use!
Sorry, I forgot to say, your sweatshirt looks lovely and comfy. I’m sure you’ll get a lot of wear out of it! 🙂
Glad you got some of the fabric. It’s a bargain even full price, I think! I’ve enjoyed wearing it today – so comfy and soft! 😃
Super sweatshirt, love the colour it’s looks great on you.
Thanks, it is a good colour 💙
The sweatshirt looks like a good wardrobe basic! I believe that you are going to wear it a lot too 🙂
Definitely!
