I will be taking part in Sarai’s Spring Palette challenge over at Colette Patterns. Here’s my board!

These are my colours and pieces/inspirations. I’m aiming to make around four pieces: trousers, a skirt, a blouse and a dress. If I get any extra time, I’ll be making an extra dress!
I really love this Cath Kidston blue dress and I would like to make my own version of it. I love the contrast red piping and the big red buttons. At £75 it’s not out of the realms of possibility (or my price range) but I know I could make something exactly as I want it for much less (Is it just me, or does everyone else think this when they see clothes in the shops that are just more than they should be?)
I have some beautiful teal fabric with dragonflies and cerise berries all over it that I would like to use for something – I’m thinking this would be good for the Beignet skirt. I also have some nice teal double crepe that I’d like to use for this so I’m undecided as of yet. We’ll have to see when it comes to it!
The blouse I’m hoping to make in some left over navy polka dot fabric that I have from my last Crepe dress (I can’t believe I have three of these now and I’ve not blogged about any of them). The trousers I want to make will be in a lovely dark colour – I’m not sure what yet.
So that’s where we are with it as yet! Is anyone else joining in? Put a link to your blog here, in the comments.
xx

That Cath Kidston dress is lovely, and quite a similar style to the Colette Ceylon dress!
I was thinking that myself actually! I might adjust the sleeves to look like the Cath Kidston one but it seems perfect for it!
